Aurora is currently practicing in Edmonton and is originally from Mexico City. She graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Fine Art and is currently completing her Master’s in Psychotherapy and Spirituality with an Art Therapy Specialization at St. Stephen’s College in Edmonton.
As part of her studies and practicum experience, Aurora has worked in different organization with a variety of populations, including adults with disabilities, seniors with different cognitive and physical limitations, caregivers of individuals in primary care settings, youth and adults. She has developed skills as a group facilitator and workshop developer in the areas of grief and loss, cognitive/developmental delays, and dementia and geriatric mental health.
Aurora is open to working with individuals from all walks of life as she continues to learn and grow as a therapist.
